IRfJ supports Radio Zareda in Obo, C.A.R

IRfJ went to Obo, Central African Republic, in February to support a community radio there, Radio Zareda, equiping it with antenna, transmitter, solar pannels, computers and editing suites, and two weeks of intensive trainining.

The pilot was funded by the NGO Invisible Children. IRfJ, also established a system for impact assessment, dispursing 98 radios within the Obo community and collecting baseline and follow-up data from the people receiving the radios about what they would like from a community radio station.
